 Bull Run Library Reopens with New Look and Modern Technologies
As residents walk through the doors of Bull Run Library, they are now greeted with an updated?look, open and inviting spaces, enhanced services and the only Makerspace in the region with an HQ Moxie long-arm quilting machine. These are some of the many improvements to the Bull Run Library that reopened Monday, September 12, 2022, after extensive renovations.

Kaiser Permanente Opens New $200 Million Caton Hill Medical Center in Woodbridge
On Monday, September 19, Kaiser Permanente opened their largest state-of-the-art medical center on the East Coast. Located at 13285 Minnieville Road in Woodbridge, the center is the seventh major hub in the Mid-Atlantic region, including five stories with a total 245,000 square feet.
 Composting Fall Leaves is a Great Activity for Lawn and Garden Health
Fall brings unique flavors like pumpkin spice, leisure activities like watching new TV shows and picturesque scenery like striking colors and falling leaves. Many gardeners and sustainability enthusiasts have leaf composting on their list of fun activities for fall. Composting can be a rewarding experience because compost helps soil, plants and lawns. Composting also reduces the need to landfill organic material, saving landfill space.
 International Walk to School Day
Prince William County Fire and Rescue System firefights will join students from selective schools around the county to celebrate International Walk to School Day. Although this year?s event will take place on Wednesday, October 12, Prince William County schools will extend the activity throughout the month.
 Safety Measures for Halloween Haunted Houses and Carnivals
Halloween season is a fun time of year, yet it is also when life-safety issues surrounding the public become a concern. The?Prince William County Fire and Rescue System?wants to take this opportunity to remind all nonprofit organizations, merchants and school personnel of their responsibility to ensure the safety of their patrons during operation of activities and events like haunted houses and carnivals.
