Democracy is on the ballot this year. Abortion access is on the ballot this year. A better future for our country is on the ballot.
Electing even just one attorney general who refuses to certify the 2024 presidential election will throw our country into chaos. Republican extremists could try and change the outcome of the election like they did in 2020 – and it will be even worse if Donald Trump runs for president again.
The difference between having a fair election or not in 2024 is going to come down to whether we have pro-democracy AGs in office where it counts.
We’ve seen cruel attacks on the right to an abortion coming from all over the country. And with Roe v. Wade completely decimated, state AGs now have even greater impact on whether abortion is safe and accessible in states across the country. For millions of people in Georgia, Texas, Wisconsin, and other states across the country, the difference between safe abortion care and complete bans on abortion, comes down to whether we have pro-abortion rights AGs in office.
