John — one of the first lessons I learned as an entrepreneur was the importance of data-driven decision making.

I think that’s also one of the most important qualities when it comes to governing — using science, data, and expertise to determine what will be best for the people of Colorado, rather than falling back on tired party politics.

And listen, John: the truth is, this has quickly become one of the biggest contrasts in the race for Governor.

For example: My opponent has put forward a proposal that would gut funding for schools and public safety. When I challenged her on it on the debate stage, she tried to deny it, but she couldn’t explain how her plan pencils out. And the numbers don’t lie — it doesn’t. My opponent’s plan would take money out of our schools and away from law enforcement.

My opponent has billed herself as “the MAGA candidate” in the race, and I think it’s clear what that means: her extreme political ideology will come before what reality tells us is best for Colorado families. And that, frankly, is the opposite of what you’ll get from me.
