John, we learned today that the cost of running a single TV ad in VA-02 has nearly doubled since last month.

The right-wing interest groups financing our opponent’s campaign can easily absorb that cost. But we’re still recovering from missing our end-of-quarter goal last week. We’re scrambling to make room in our budget to cover this and fund our field team and day-to-day operations.

John, Republicans have spent at least $1.2 million on attack ads since August.

Hundreds of thousands of voters are seeing those ads on their TV screens right now, and with early voting already started, we can’t afford for them to only see Republicans attack our campaign.

We have two options: let Republican lies go completely unchecked, or raise enough to cover our full budget and the rising ad costs. That’s why we’re asking you to please pitch in $25 or more to expand our media budget and get Elaine’s message out ASAP.
