I am firmly opposed to the SAFE-T Act and any other efforts to defund or divert funding from our brave law enforcement. I know first hand that defunding mechanisms hurt the district’s most disadvantaged families and businesses the most. 
 

Unlike my opponent who supports the police in words only, I will support them in action by voting for policies that provide our officers with more, not less resources like the SAFE-T Act.
