Leora Levy Responds to CT’s Spiraling Economy, Fueled by Biden-Blumenthal Failures
GREENWICH, CT - Early Friday, the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis issued its latest quarterly findings with data confirming what so many families feel on a daily basis, Connecticut’s economy continues to deteriorate. At 4.7%, Connecticut had the second largest decrease in gross domestic product nationally, a signal that our economy is in trouble. This comes days after the Fed increased interest rates by 0.75% for a third time and markets closing at their lowest points in 2022.
Political outsider and U.S. Senate candidate Leora Levy is calling out career politicians Biden and Blumenthal who own this economic disaster. They spent trillions of dollars, defying repeated warnings about inflation and have made life unaffordable for Connecticut families.
“Prices are rising, our GDP is plummeting, and Connecticut families are feeling the pain of Biden and Blumenthal’s failed economic agenda. People are struggling to afford groceries and keep up with their energy bills, while watching their retirement savings disappear. Biden and Blumenthal are crushing the American Dream and have made life unaffordable.
“In the Senate, I will reduce spending, oppose burdensome regulations that drive business out of our state, and make life affordable again. Connecticut cannot afford six more years of Dishonest Dick Blumenthal.”
