I wanted to send you a quick email about tonight's debate. I'm typing from my phone, so sorry for any typos!

While Mike Flood spent his time tonight talking about Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi, I was focused on discussing the issues hurting working Nebraskans — and my plan for tackling them in Congress.

During my time in the Nebraska Legislature, I passed over 60 bills with bipartisan support because I know that no one person and no one party has all the answers. We have to stop the mudslinging and come together to help our seniors, our LGBTQ+ community, and working families across the country. That means tackling the sky-high cost of health care + prescription drugs, fighting for Medicare + Social Security, and investing in workforce development so our state remains a place where everyone can live and thrive.

Tonight, we showed voters across the District that only one candidate in this race will fight for all Nebraskans, regardless of the party behind their name. And John, I’m ready to be your next congresswoman.
