I usually try not to get too in the weeds in emails like these because I find that all the jargon and the discussion of the so-called ‘horse race’ – who’s up and who’s down – can often miss the point. And especially with reproductive rights, and the integrity of our elections on the ballot, it can minimize what is at stake in this race.
But bear with me for a moment because as one of my supporters, you are an integral part of this campaign, and you deserve to know what is happening on the ground (and on the airwaves) here in New Hampshire.
Our fundraising has been weaker than expected in recent weeks, and we were concerned about a budget hole. So we worked on recruiting a generous group of donors to double match your contributions, hoping that would put us in a better place.
But then, my extreme, right-wing opponent – Don Bolduc – released a memo and revealed that “in the last week, [Bolduc] has already surpassed the amount raised during the entire year.”
John, this is serious. And I hope I can count on you to step up and give $3, or whatever you can.

Bolduc already has the GOP dark money machine on his side. With our fundraising in a slump, the surge of cash Bolduc's campaign is seeing, on top of the over $58 million GOP groups are already spending against me, is extremely troubling.
If we don’t act decisively it could tip the scales in his favor.
This is a make or break moment for our campaign and the future of our razor thin Senate majority. So please, step up and stand with me in this fight.
