Team,
With 37 days to go until the election, national Republicans are revealing just how important Michigan will be in the midterm elections.
Yesterday, former President Trump held a rally in Warren, Michigan on behalf of some Michigan Republican candidates: Tudor Dixon (running for governor), Matthew DePerno (running for attorney general), Kirstina Karamo (running for secretary of state) and John James (running for the 10th Congressional District).
But those candidates weren’t the only ones featured at last night’s rally – Trump brought a number of familiar national faces with him. Most notable was Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who in true fashion, engaged in some of the extreme rhetoric that she has come to be known for.
Front and center at the rally were claims that the results of the 2020 election were illegitimate, something Michigan Republicans are still saying — including Elissa’s opponent, who just last week argued the 2020 election’s integrity is “an unknowable thing” and declined to answer when asked if he would have certified the results of the 2020 election as a member of Congress.
Last night made one thing perfectly clear – Michigan is a key piece of national Republicans’ strategy. And, with one of the most competitive AND most expensive House races in the entire country, you can be sure they’re prioritizing Elissa’s seat. Will you chip in to help us fight back against the outside Republicans trying to have a say in Michigan?
