John, you may have seen that Senator Lindsey Graham recently introduced a national abortion ban.
It's not the first time he's done so. He introduced a similar ban in 2019, and I testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee in opposition.
This was only a few weeks after I gave my speech against HB 481, in which I shared the painful personal story of my past miscarriages. I told Senator Graham and his colleagues that same story again — to emphasize that these abortion bans open the door for women who suffered miscarriages to face criminal investigation.
Three years later, I'm still speaking out. And as Attorney General, I'll fight to protect women from unjust prosecution– something my opponent will never do.
