Since early 2021, I’ve had the honor of representing our state in Washington, D.C. — working night and day to make it easier for Californians to succeed in school, work, and life.

Democrats have passed landmark legislation that affects everyday Americans: lowering the cost of insulin, investing in our roads and bridges, and helping folks recover financially from the worst pandemic in a century.

We’ve come so far from Donald Trump’s term full of chaos and corruption.

But look: Kevin McCarthy and his ultra-MAGA Republicans are pushing a radical agenda that will undo all the progress we’ve made.

They want to limit reproductive freedoms, roll back climate change initiatives, and gut health care. They’re even targeting democracy itself.

It’s clear: Republicans have laid out their vision for California -- and that’s to take us back to some of our darkest days.

With so much at stake, it’s critical we do everything we can to retain our Democratic majority.
