John,

Do you speak one of the following languages?
Mandarin | Cantonese | Korean | Vietnamese
Tagalong | Hindi | Urdu | Bengali
If so, we need your help to support our new partner, Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote (APIAVote), with three of their critical efforts to get out the vote:

WHO is APIAVOTE?
Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote (APIAVote) is the nation’s leading nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to engaging, educating, and empowering Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities to strengthen their voices and create impact. For decades, this action-driven organization has led national initiatives and worked with local and state community-based organizations to ensure AAPI citizens are represented and heard. Learn more about them at APIAVote.org ([link removed]) , or send questions to Mike Messina at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) .

HOW Can You Help?

There are three critical calls to action to help GET OUT THE VOTE:
1. Make Calls to AAPI Voters with APIAVote ([link removed])
All virtual, shifts available from now until election day
APIAVote is gearing-up to make one million phone calls to AAPI voters across the country to encourage them to turn out and vote. Training will be provided, all you need is a phone, computer, and an internet connection
.
2. Help Staff APIAVote's Multilingual Voter Protection HOTLINE ([link removed])
Indicate your interest, we'll get in touch with training and to schedule your shift(s).
APIAVote is working with Asian Americans Advancing Justice to provide critical, in-language support to voters who have questions about voting or who need to report issues they are encountering at the polling place. Live assistance will be available beginning on Monday, October 3rd, in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Hindi, Urdu, and Bengali. All volunteers are welcome, but if you speak any of the aforementioned languages, your assistance would be greatly appreciated!

3. Record a Video for APIAVote's GOTV Social Media Campaign ([link removed])
Do this on your own time but remember that election day is coming up soon
APIAVote is launching a new GOTV social media campaign to encourage members of our community to vote and we need your help! Record a video (15 seconds - 45 seconds) explaining why you're voting this year, but keep it nonpartisan and focused on the single issue of saving democracy!

Please share these calls to action and recruit any friends, family, neighbors, colleagues or others in your community whom you can also enlist to our pro-democracy cause!

Together,

The Union & APIAVote
