Welcome back to Team Elise’s weekly newsletter! Here are a few of the stories we are tracking, along with some news around NY-21:
MUST WATCH: Elise Joins Fox News to Discuss Republicans’ Plans to Save America!
Last Friday, Elise joined Fox and Friends to discuss the ‘Commitment to America’, which is House Republicans’ plan to help Save America when Republicans earn back their majority in Congress this November. The Commitment to America has four buckets: an economy that’s strong, a nation that’s safe, a future that’s built on freedom, and a government that’s accountable.
As House GOP Conference Chair, Elise is playing a leading role in sharing this plan with the American people. Watch her recent interviews on Fox News below!

BACKING THE BLUE: Elise Endorsed By the Police Conference of New York and the Lieutenants Benevolent Association of the NYPD
Elise always has, and always will, Back the Blue, which is why she is endorsed by every police union and the border patrol! Elise recently spoke at the Police Conference of New York’s meeting at Fort William Henry, and following the event, she announced that she earned their unanimous endorsement. This is the largest police organization in New York! Richard Wells, President of the Police Conference of New York, stated:
“The Police Conference of New York is proud to unanimously endorse Congresswoman Stefanik for her re-election bid once again this year. With attacks on our law enforcement surging throughout New York and violent crime surging as well, this election couldn’t be more important. Elise is the only candidate in her race to stand up for New York police officers and Back the Blue repeatedly during this critical time. Unlike her Far-Left opponent, who will serve as a rubber stamp for the Democrats’ radical anti-police agenda, we know that Elise will always fight at the highest levels of the Federal Government to make sure that our law enforcement officers have the resources they need to keep our communities safe. We are so proud to have Elise represent us in Washington DC and
look forward to working with her in the next Congress to pass her Pro Police laws.”
This past week, Elise also announced that she received the endorsement of the Lieutenants Benevolent Association of the NYPD. Many of the association's retirees reside throughout Upstate New York and the North Country. Louis Turco, President of the Lieutenants Benevolent Association of the New York City Police Department, stated:
“The Lieutenants Benevolent Association of the New York City Police Department, with more than 5,200 active and retired Lieutenants, is pleased to endorse Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for reelection to the United States House of Representatives representing New York’s 21st Congressional District. Congresswoman Elise Stefanik is absolutely opposed to any and all calls to defund the police. Instead, she is one of the few in Congress who has called to increase federal funding for law enforcement…Since her election in 2014, when she became the youngest woman ever elected to Congress, Elise has proven to be a strong and unwavering supporter of law enforcement. Based on the above, the LBA proudly endorses Elise Stefanik for Congress.”
Elise Introduces Legislation Aimed at Protecting Free Speech on College Campuses
This week, Elise announced that she is helping introduce legislation to eliminate political tests on campuses across the country. These tests are used in the admissions process to root out conservative students and are also seen in the hiring process to do the same to the staff.
REAL RESULTS: Following Elise’s Advocacy, Canada Ends Vaccine Mandate And ArriveCAN Use for Northern Border Travel
This week, Elise announced that following her advocacy Canada is removing restrictions and the use of their ArriveCAN app. Effective October 1st visitors to Canada will no longer be required to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination. Elise said:
“I am proud to announce that, following my advocacy, Canada will finally drop its vaccine mandate and ArriveCAN app requirements“This is a critical step forward to fully restoring Northern Border travel for our communities and small businesses that rely on this important partnership. Our Northern Border communities have suffered enough from the prolonged closure and restriction to travel, and there is no more reason to delay full restoration of travel. However, even though Joe Biden has admitted that the pandemic is over, he continues to fail to drop the vaccine mandate for travel across the Northern Border into the U.S., failing our Northern Border communities as a result. I will continue to lead the charge to end all vaccine mandates and regulations that impede Northern
Border travel, so our North Country communities, tourism, and commerce can be fully restored.”

Elise Secures $1 Million for Plattsburgh Airport Industrial Park
On Tuesday, Elise announced that following her advocacy, Clinton County will receive a $1 million grant from the Small Business Administration to update a manufacturing facility at the Plattsburgh Airport Industrial Park. Elise said:
“I am proud to announce that, following my advocacy, $1 million of taxpayer dollars will return to Clinton County to update the infrastructure of a manufacturing facility at the Plattsburgh Airport Industrial Park. I am committed to bringing the concerns of New York’s 21st District to the highest levels, which is why I worked throughout the appropriations process to include this priority for our communities. Now, this critical funding will transform a dilapidated multipurpose facility into a modern industrial building ready to host new high-tech businesses and strengthen the economy of the North Country.”
Elise Condemns Far Left’s Efforts to Rename Columbus Day
On Wednesday, Elise blasted Far Left Democrats for attempting to cancel Christopher Columbus by renaming Columbus Day in New York. Elise acknowledges that Christopher Columbus paved the way for the establishment of our own great nation, and she believes that renaming this holiday is nothing more than virtue signaling to the Radical Left.

TOWNHALL: Elise Stefanik Believes Historic Midterm Wins for GOP Are Possible, Especially with Help of Republican Women
“If every E-PAC endorsed candidate were to win on election night, there would be more than 50 Republican women in the 118th Congress. Stefanik started E-PAC after the 2018 midterms, when there were only 13 Republican women in the House. Stefanik believes that there could be 40 Republican women come the next Congress.”
