To all directly impacted by current Climate Disasters: we are fighting for you and sending you our love.
It doesn’t matter what channel you watch. The devastation of Hurricane Ian is clear. Climate disasters have steadily increased in occurrence and strength — sooner or later every single one of us will be negatively affected by climate change. It’s why we have to elect people who are willing to act now.
I believe climate disasters will unify us as a nation and as a globe. We can unify now, ahead of the coming storms, or wait until we have no other choice. Whether we do things the less hard way will depend on who we elect. When we elect leaders who care about every neighborhood, every neighbor, we will come together and make impactful change.

According to the American Public Health Association and Yale University, people of color in the US are “particularly more vulnerable to heatwaves, extreme weather events, environmental degradation” and job loss. Historical discrimination practices in housing, education, employment, and healthcare have created Cat 5 inequalities that have manifested as greater vulnerability to climate events.
Every time PowerPAC backs a candidate running for office, we do so because we know the larger picture. It’s called the greater good. We know the fight is long, we know it is difficult, and we know how exhausted you are by it. We will never stop fighting for our communities.
Climate relief means electing leaders who don’t ignore our communities! [[link removed]]

PowerPAC is a social justice organization that strategically directs financial and human resources to local and state organizations working to deliver wins in legislative fights, ballot initiatives, and more. For years the money we've raised has, dollar for dollar, been given back to the communities we work with. We've made sure that your investments were being used to build power for our communities because too often we are underrepresented and ignored.
