Hey team — We have some tough news. Our finance team has been crunching the numbers all weekend, but despite all of our combined efforts, unfortunately, we did not hit our September $35,000 End-of-Quarter goal.
First, we wanted to thank every single person who donated to try and help us reach our goal. We knew $35,000 was ambitious, but our teams on the ground are knocking on doors, launching major statewide online and TV advertising campaigns, and getting out the vote every way possible. We know just who we’re up against — extremist groups who are spending millions to try and beat us, so we had to set competitive goals to give our campaigns the absolute best shot at winning.
But, team, we were so close — $1,185 short to be exact. So, as we prepare for the final stretch until the midterms — basically just one month to go, we’re bracing ourselves for some tough decisions ahead. We can either cut our budget in these final days or raise the last $1,185 we planned to spend on our teams on the ground.
Team, will you join us with one final donation towards our EOQ goal today? [[link removed]] Cutting our budget could be the difference between expanding Medicaid in South Dakota, helping Arizonans keep their homes and cars and stay out of debt traps, increasing wages in Nebraska, holding LA’s corrupt sheriff accountable, and enshrining abortion protections in Michigan and Vermont.
We need your help on this, friend. If you’re with us in the fight to win our 2022 campaigns just one short month from now, can you help us build our final resources and hit our September EOQ goal before it’s too late? [[link removed]]
SUPPORT OUR WORK → [[link removed]]Thanks for your continued generosity, team! We couldn’t do this work without you.
