We’re getting close to meeting our trash-pick up budget for January 18th, but we’re still not there yet.

John,

Good news. We’re getting close to meeting our trash pick-up budget for the January 18th Women’s March on Washington. But we’re still not there yet.

We need $15,000 to pay for trash cans, trucks, and the labor to remove all the trash. Can you pitch in $11 now and be one of the 1,364 people we need to cover the trash pick-up?

We need everyone to step up so we can get the trash off the streets – and get the trash out of the White House.

We’re just 25 days out from the march which means the clock is ticking. If we can’t meet our budget, we’re going to start making cuts.

When thousands of people gather together, there will inevitably be a lot of trash. That’s why we pay for trash pick-up after all of our marches to make sure that we leave D.C. cleaner than we found it.

We will have hundreds of volunteers helping out and trash stations available, but we still need a trash service to come pick up the garbage and take it away.

If just one in five people reading this donated $11, we could meet our trash budget today. That means we could focus our funds on more exciting initiatives (that don’t involve porta potties or trash), but first we need to make sure these basic needs are met.

Can you chip in $11 right now and be one of 1,364 people we need to cover the trash pick-up?

Thank you for being part of this team effort.
