I don’t mean to alarm you, John, but Election Day is next month, and there’s a lot on the line. So much, in fact, that MSNBC’s Joy Reid has warned "The 2022 midterms may actually be the most important elections of our lifetime."
Now, with just 38 days to go, we’re running out of time to implement every piece of the NDRC’s democracy-saving strategy. That’s why I’m asking: Will you pitch in today to join our fight?
Here’s what we’re up against: Back in 2020, Donald Trump and his allies tried to overturn the presidential election, and they’re still furious that their efforts failed.
Now, the GOP is working across the country to elevate Big Liars, election deniers, and even literal insurrectionists to positions of power. If they succeed, GOP efforts to overturn future elections could actually work.
It’s a scary situation, John – and it leaves us with just two options.
Option One – We Blow It
If we hold back and give this fight anything less than all we’ve got, Republicans will be able to win races that will give them control over future elections. If MAGA Republicans win power in 2022, they could use that power to overturn the presidential election results in 2024!
Option Two – We Fight Back
