We don’t take our requests for support with a grain of salt. In fact, your contributions have allowed us to do incredible things in 2019, such as reaching more than 15,000 voters!
We have knocked on the doors of 11,000 voters thanks to the faithful volunteers who have been with us since June AND thanks to our paid canvassers, a program we launched in December thanks to your support. By paying a livable wage of $17.50 per hour, we’re able to provide the community a chance to make a difference, and our canvassers can have some extra holiday money for their families. For most, this was the first time they have ever made as much as $17.50 per hour.
Can you contribute $52.50 to cover one canvasser’s shift and help us reach more voters?

We recently reached 4,000 more voters by sending out as many holiday postcards to voters. We’re dropping more in the mail this week! |

Why would we start so early? Because our campaign began with the end in mind, so it’s critical we hit our metrics for success. In 2020, the Presidential primaries, local elections, and our filing period will begin. It’s crucial that we get ahead of the competition and cut through the noise, which is why we cannot afford to slow down.
We are both nervous and excited for 2020. Our volunteer activity will inevitably grow and so will our staff. Everything we do on our campaign is about providing a voice for the community. At the doors, our neighbors are overwhelmingly appreciative that we came to talk to them. They are excited to have an opportunity for change in MO-01 and to vote for me. They also want to get involved with our campaign.
Very simply put, your donations = voter outreach. Any amount you can give will help us keep that up. |
