This award is in recognition of Sandra’s incredible commitment to ending sexual and domestic violence in our communities. Sandra is a dedicated leader, a recognized expert, and a fierce advocate and we are proud to honor her, highlight her achievements, and recognize her role in both our history and the greater movement. Sandra plays an integral part of POV’s development and growth, as a former staff member and a longtime friend and partner. Now as the CEO of VALORUS ([link removed]) , Sandra is elevating the profile of sexual violence and the work of rape crisis center programs throughout the state of California and the nation.
