John, This month, we looked back at an incredibly successful 2018-2019 school year. Looking ahead to 2020, however, can feel a little intimidating. The issue: This month alone, 1 in 3 US students reported being bullied by a peer - that’s 18.8 million kids. Meanwhile, the bullying landscape has only continued to evolve and expand with the birth of the digital era; Cyberbullying already affects 15% of 12-18-year-olds. The silver lining: Though the methods of bullying have changed, bullying still stems from one critical issue, a lack of empathy. That’s why our SEL tools have been successful in schools - our celebration of difference and diversity is empowering students to lead with kindness and compassion off and offline. John, 2019 is almost up. Can you make a donation before the year ends and give the gift of a bully-free childhood? | |
