Dear John,

As we lead into Christmas I would like to thank you for all you have made possible throughout the year to evangelise the cities of Africa in Word and Deed in partnership with the church.

In total we have reached 461,997 people with 75,540 having made commitments to Jesus. And, our final 2019 mission – Arba Minch in Ethiopia - is just about to begin.

Some of the stories of transformation <[link removed]> you may have read in our Harambee e-news or the African Harvest Newsletter.

Our teams in Africa are so grateful that you have supported them in the Great Commission, and enabled us to unite churches across Africa to minister to the lost, lonely and hurt. These results and impact would not have been possible without intercessors and financial partners from across the continent and beyond Africa.

You have sponsored thousands of volunteers and evangelists on mission to witness to hundreds of thousands of people in some of the most difficult areas on earth. Your prayers have upheld the confidence and ability of African Christians to reach out to people around them through their own language and culture.

Your care through our tax deductible programs and social action initiatives have seen us provide professional services for free, helping people in some of the most challenging situations and giving hope to vulnerable women and street kids through new vocational careers brought through the love of Christ. Programs in water and sanitation have lifted the life expectancy of many young people, and helped curtail preventable diseases.

On behalf of all of us in African Enterprise, Stephen Mbogo and I wish you a Blessed Christmas season! We thank you that even in the most challenging times, you have helped bring salvation and eternal hope to so many. What a great gift you have provided many thousands of people this year.

This is the time when we all reflect afresh on Immanuel, God’s gift to us humanity! We pray that as you spend time with family and friends you will be refreshed and renewed for the new year.

Immanuel! God with us! The Reason for the Season and the One destined to bring great joy to many around the world (Luke 2. 10-11)

In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”

Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.” (Luke 1: 26-33)
