With Hurricane Ian devastating Florida, South Carolina, and other parts of the South these past few days, we need to step up for our brothers and sisters in harm’s way.
The Florida Disaster Fund supports response and recovery from disasters like this, and they distribute funds to organizations on the ground that will help communities recover from the storm.
Climate change will only make these disasters more frequent. We’ve seen the impact that hurricanes and their accompanying flooding can have here in New York, and I’m praying for everyone in Ian’s path today.
