John – It’s Saturday morning and I’m headed out the door soon for another full weekend of campaign events.

Before I do, I just wanted to drop a quick note to say THANK YOU!

So many of you pitched in to help us close out the quarter strong last night. We’ve received over 1,000 grassroots contributions, with an average individual contribution of less than $40 – proving this campaign truly is people-powered.

September was our best fundraising month yet, and I am so grateful to everyone who was able to give. We did fall just a little bit short of our goal for the month, but that’s okay. We can still make up that ground this week.

If you didn’t get a chance to contribute before the end of the month, or if you already donated and you’re able to give a little more today, can you pitch in any amount now to keep our momentum going?

The funds we raise in the next week will really define the rest of this campaign. Right now I need to be placing the final orders for palm cards and other materials, and I need to make sure my canvassing teams across the state have all the resources they need to get out the vote.

Early voting begins soon, and the dates vary by county, so my team needs to get the word out now to make sure people:

  • Know about our campaign

  • Know when, where, and how to vote

  • Make a plan to vote

  • Remind their friends and family to vote

This is it, John, the last month before the election. We have a chance to make history here. You can help me flip this seat and elect the first openly gay man to the United States Senate.

I know that every donation is an act of faith, that with your contributions you are placing your trust in me to look out for your interests. I take that trust very seriously, and I look forward to earning that as your next Senator.

With gratitude,

- David

David Roth is a single, gay dad running to flip a U.S. Senate seat in Idaho. His opponent is an extremist “pro-life” Republican who’s been in politics for 37 years. David stepped up to serve the state that has been his home most of his life, where he is now raising his two young sons, because every state is worth fighting for. There has never been an openly gay man elected to the U.S. Senate. Help us make history this year. Pitch in now to flip this seat and send David to D.C.
