John,
Two weeks from now, my campaign manager may ask himself: Should we cut our TV budget in favor of recruiting door-knockers? Or do we keep our ads up on airwaves across Hennepin County by scaling back our mail program? How much could we save by printing fewer lawn signs?
These are the difficult decisions that every campaign has to make when facing a budget shortfall with a matter of weeks left until the election – and unfortunately, these are the decisions that may very well determine its outcome. We could have record midterm turnout this year, and only people who know my name will vote for me.
We're just 38 days away.
I need to be able to reach Hennepin County voters every which way I can, but this stuff is not cheap. We already fell quite a bit short of our September goal and time is running out.
John, I hate asking as much as you hate being asked. But if you can, please chip in $25, $50, or even $100 so that we can do everything we know it will take to win this race. I'm counting on you to help me get across the finish line.
