John –
We are under 40 days until Election
Day! With only 6 weekends remaining to reach as many voters as
possible, we need every single person who wants to re-elect Ron
Johnson and retire Tony Evers to get involved and do their
part.
Let us know which of the 6
remaining weekends you can join us to volunteer by filling out
this
form, or visit one of our
field offices around the state which you can find here.

Two weeks ago, the RPW sent records
requests to the City of Milwaukee after the mayor announced an
initiative between the City and private funders to drive up voter
turnout across the city. This week, we filed two lawsuits against the
City. One of which prompted them to turn over their records
about the initiative, and the other came upon inspection of the
records. This second lawsuit seeks to put a stop to the voter turnout
program that is being run by long-time Democrat political operatives
and Democrat political firms, while being jointly conducted by the
City and outside sponsors. We will keep you updated as our legal
efforts to ensure the integrity of our votes progresses.
After numerous reports surrounding the exorbitant costs Mandela
Barnes has been charging to taxpayers for his State Patrol police
detail, the Legislature’s Audit Committee announced on Tuesday that it has begun probing the security
costs for both Barnes and Evers. Sen. Rob Cowles and Rep. John Macco
sent a letter to the Superintendent of the State Patrol seeking
information on the procedures and policies in place to determine when
either Barnes or Evers are provided a detail. There were further
questions asked and detailed surrounding the coordination and presence
of the taxpayer-funded details at political events and
meetings.

Agriculture and dairy being some of
the most important industries to the Badger State. Today, Tim Michels
notched a massive win against Tony Evers when the Wisconsin Dairy
Alliance and the Venture Dairy Cooperative announced they are endorsing
Tim for Governor!
Tony Evers gives lip service to
Wisconsin’s dairy tradition, but his administration has consistently
treated dairy operations as the enemy. His Department of Natural
Resources has put the boot on modern dairy operations with even more
red tape. Evers even tried to raise taxes on farmers and manufacturers.
On Thursday, the Evers/Underly DPI released new Forward Exam scores that quantify the education failures of his administration – a
testament to his abysmal leadership despite his decades of experience
in the education bureaucracy.
On the most recent statewide
assessments, just 37 percent of students are proficient in reading, 39
percent are proficient in math, and student achievement has not
recovered from Evers’ refusal to help reopen schools during the
pandemic. Meanwhile, Evers has rejected efforts for more parental
involvement – vetoing bipartisan literacy bills and a Parental Bill of Rights.

Files Lawsuits Against Evers Administration and City of Milwaukee for
Failing to Fulfill Open Records Requests
The Republican Party of Wisconsin
filed two separate lawsuits against Tony Evers, his administration,
and the City of Milwaukee related to failures to respond to separate
open records requests. The RPW filings come on the heels of the
Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty filing a lawsuit Monday on
behalf of Wisconsin Right Now, against Evers’ administration for
failing to comply with open records requests.
Milwaukee
Police Association Endorses Ron Johnson for U.S.
Senate
The Milwaukee Police Association is
endorsing Ron Johnson for reelection to the United States Senate.
Johnson’s opponent, Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, is running on a dangerous
agenda to defund the police, half the prison population, eliminate
cash bail, and abolish ICE.
Who
did Tony Evers parole in 2022?
Last week, Senator Van Wanggaard
and Senator Julian Bradley wrote a letter demanding an answer to why
Evers’ Department of Corrections and Parole Commission are
“stonewalling and undermining the Legislature’s duty to oversee the
DOC and Commission.” Wanggaard said late Tuesday that the Department
indicated that by the end of the week they would get him the
readily-available information he requested months ago.
Over
40% of ‘Early Release’ Inmates Re-offend, Endangering Public Safety,
But Evers Expanded Program
Gov. Tony Evers’ administration
expanded the state’s earned release program in multiple ways even
though more than 40% of earned release and challenge incarceration
inmates are re-arrested within two years, endangering public safety,
Wisconsin Right Now has documented.
RPW
Files Lawsuit Against City of Milwaukee over Partisan Political
Operation
The Republican Party of Wisconsin
filed a lawsuit in Milwaukee County Circuit Court challenging the City
of Milwaukee’s “Milwaukee Votes 2022” initiative. Reports, including
statements by Mayor Cavalier Johnson, have suggested that government
resources and personnel might be used to assist Democratic-aligned
organizations, such as GPS Impact, in their Get-Out-the-Vote
efforts.
