MSF supporters stepped up to address this unprecedented crisis

As you read this, thousands of children are being treated for malnutrition in hospitals supported by Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). Around the world, thousands more will arrive at our doors this month, driven to seek help by escalating conflict that has disrupted food supply chains and prevented people from accessing basic resources.
Thanks to the overwhelming response to our matching fundraising campaign, MSF will be able to provide lifesaving aid to these children and to families in more than 70 countries around the world.
Here’s just some of the vital, urgent work your donations make possible:
Providing more consistent and lasting nutritional support programs for people living in displacement camps due to the war in Yemen.
Screening and treating tens of thousands of children for malnutrition in northwest Nigeria, addressing a hunger crisis that’s exacerbated by soaring staple food prices and the rise of armed groups making it impossible to harvest food.
Expanding bed capacity at Boost Hospital in Afghanistan, where between 700 and 900 new patients arrive each day–most of them children.
Thanks to your generosity, MSF is able to respond to escalating hunger crises while continuing our response to other health needs in more than 70 countries around the world. Our community of supporters makes it possible for MSF’s 45,000 doctors, nurses, logisticians, and other staff members to work around the clock serving patients independently and impartially.
Sincerely,
Avril Benoît
