I hate to bother you on a Saturday, but you deserve the truth.

Usually, the morning after a big deadline, I tell you how Democrats CRUSHED our fundraising goal.

But this is not one of those emails.

Last night was Democrats’ single biggest fundraising deadline of the entire election — and I just learned we fell short of our End of Quarter goal.

I won’t sugarcoat the severity of this situation: Republicans only need to flip FIVE seats to claw their way back into power in the House. And I was badly counting on last night’s goal to fund a CRITICAL wave of Democratic reinforcements in these final weeks to stop them. I KNOW we can still rescue our chances, but I’m going to need 990 Democrats to rush $15 TODAY to close our budget gap and send out our necessary last-minute reinforcements before it’s too late.
