Here we go again:
In an interview last week, Meta President of Global Affairs Nick Clegg signaled that Donald Trump’s ban on Facebook and Instagram could be lifted as early as January 2023.
Not on our watch. Please sign our urgent petition to Meta: KEEP TRUMP OFF FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM.

If Trump regains access to his Facebook and Instagram accounts — just in time for the start of the 2024 presidential election cycle, no less — we fully expect that he will once again use these platforms to whip up election-related conspiracy theories and incite hate against people of color, immigrants, Muslim Americans, women and many other groups. That would be a major blow to our fight against dangerous and divisive disinformation.
Our movement was instrumental in getting Trump kicked off of social media last year. And if we are going to convince Meta to do the right thing, we need you on our side once again.
There’s no time to waste: Sign our petition demanding that Meta keep Trump off Facebook and Instagram.

P.S. This isn’t just about whether Meta should allow Trump back. It’s about whether powerful people should be exempt from the rules the rest of us follow. And the answer to both questions is “NO.” Add your name if you agree.
