Elections are only 38 days away and Democrats simply don’t have a plan to reduce crime, strengthen the economy, improve education, and secure the border.

Jessica Anderson joined Fox News to explain why pursuing a conservative agenda for the midterm elections is in the best interest of the people of the country.

Conservatives are the only ones that have put forward plans to strengthen the economy, conquer inflation, and reduce crime.

Director of Grassroots Janae Stracke joined John Solomon to highlight the disconnect between Washington elites and the people. 72% of Americans want the border to be secured, yet Biden continues to neglect this concern.

Janae outlined the effect this neglect is having on voters and laid out a plan for Republicans to follow when they take back power after the midterms.

Contrary to VP Kamala Harris’s claim, the southern border is NOT secure. In the past two years, there have been over 5 million apprehensions and over 1.4 million “got-aways.” It’s clear that Democrats are not taking this issue seriously.

This is why Heritage Action is calling on the new Congress to make border security the top priority. Jessica Anderson’s op-ed in Fox News presents a plan for conservatives:

Congress should:

1. Impeach DHS Secretary Alejando Mayorkas
2. Reinstate President Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policies
3. Increase resources for Customs and Border Patrol
4. End “Catch and Release”

The Government is Funded through Dec. 16

On Friday, Congress passed a continuing resolution (CR) to maintain current levels of federal funding through December 16. As a result, Congress must now pass a spending bill before that December deadline to prevent the government from shutting down.

With elections fast approaching in November, this spending bill will be presented after the midterm elections but before the new Congress takes office. This “lame-duck” legislating (legislating after elections but before the newly elected take office) has historically ended in absurd spending bills that do not reflect the will of the people.

When that December deadline arrives, conservatives should NOT let Pelosi pass an omnibus spending bill. An omnibus would allow Democrats to lock in Biden’s failed inflation agenda through 2023.

It would be better to pass another short CR until January, when the new Congress is sworn-in. The Congressmen elected by voters in November should be the ones to set the agenda for 2023.
