As we approach the end of the year, my team and I are taking a moment to step back and reflect on a transformative and challenging year.

We passed legislation to save lives from gun violence, to reduce the cost of prescription drugs, to make health care more affordable, to raise the minimum wage, to protect the rights of LGBTQ Americans – the list goes on and on.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of our legislative accomplishments are languishing in Mitch McConnell’s self-proclaimed “graveyard,” abandoned by the Republican majority in the Senate, and we are once again acutely reminded that elections have consequences…

2020 will be one of the most important elections of our lifetimes, and we will have to fight to keep the House majority and bring home a victory for Democrats up and down the ballot.
