Hi, friend – look, I recognize it's a Friday evening and you've heard from me a lot lately. But after 11:59 p.m. tonight, I have to go public with my fundraising numbers, so I’m relying on this grassroots team to help me reach this ambitious goal.

Tonight is the last quarterly FEC reporting deadline of the campaign, and our most important deadline yet. 

Deadlines like this are when we must show the strength of our campaign, but I'm still coming up $13,815 short of what I need to raise. With polling showing me down just 1 point to Marco Rubio – and our Senate majority on the line – I cannot miss tonight's important goal.

I hope you'll forgive me for being so blunt, but it's because I believe you care deeply about the state of our race and the fate of our Democratic majority.
