True to form, the GOP wrapped themselves in the flag (almost literally) and sent Seth a copy of the flag code in a box with an American flag. Also true to form, it backfired immediately.

A tip for the GOP? Next time you want to insult someone’s patriotism, make sure they aren’t a Marine who served four tours in Iraq and is now serving in the House of Representatives.

Not only did their stunt backfire, it shows they have their sights set on Seth. They know what we know: that Seth would be a formidable general election candidate and is uniquely positioned to beat Trump in 2020.
