Dear Friend,
Everywhere I look, I see devastation.
I’m a member of the Project HOPE emergency response team on the ground in Florida, where families’ worst fears are coming true in the wake of Hurricane Ian.
At least 42 people have been reported dead as emergency responders continue search and rescue operations. Houses, roads and bridges have been destroyed. Millions of people are without power, and the storm has left others trapped in their homes with water rising due to severe floods.
Even in the face of this heartbreaking tragedy, I also see hope. And you’re an essential part of giving that hope, in Florida and around the world where people are suffering.
Please rush your gift now to help us continue to deliver lifesaving supplies, aid and hope where they are needed most.
Our emergency response teams are on the ground in the most devastated areas of Florida. We’re traveling to shelters and health clinics to distribute urgently needed supplies like medications, diapers, hygiene products, clean water and food. We’re focused on ensuring that the most vulnerable populations — including those who are elderly, disabled or have pre-existing conditions — get the care they need.
And this is just the beginning. It is clear to me that our resources will be spread thin over time because of the tremendous amount of need.
