As of when I last checked in (8 min. ago), Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D) is forecasted to MISS her upcoming fundraising goal at 11:59 p.m. tonight.

I've never been one to mince words, so here's the painful truth: If Catherine falls short of her fundraising goals, we can kiss our Democratic Senate majority goodbye and hand it to Mitch McConnell on a silver platter! [[link removed]] Catherine’s campaign will be completely overwhelmed by the millions McConnell is spending on attack ads against her, and she won’t have the resources necessary to fight back.

It's the scenario McConnell is hoping for – the scenario where he picks up the ONE seat he needs to flip the Senate red.
