I know it’s a bit late, but before we sign off for the weekend I wanted to personally update you on my campaign’s fundraising efforts.

As you likely know, tonight marks our final quarterly fundraising deadline with the FEC before the midterm election. We set an ambitious (but very achievable) goal, and are now just $5,000 short of our target. If just three people in the your area contribute right now, we’ll hit this goal in minutes.

With less than two weeks until ballots hit mailboxes, we continue running a robust field program to deliver our message to undecided voters. We’ve also sent mailers to get new residents familiar with my background and accomplishments. In addition, we’re countering the attack ads being run by Kevin McCarthy’s super PAC.

None of this would have been possible without your support. I don’t believe for a second that money or TV ads will be a deciding factor in this race, but this is still a competitive district, and we can’t leave anything to chance.

Remember, a large number of CA-49 residents will be voting in this district for the first time since new congressional maps were drawn. That means we need to make a strong push to get our message out to as many voters as possible in the coming weeks.
