I know you’ve been hearing from us a lot this week, but hopefully this will be the last email we need to send tonight. 

Our last end-of-quarter deadline of the election is hours away, and my fundraising team just let me know that we’re still more than $20,000 short of our budget target.

John, even before Republicans pledged to spend nearly $1 million in attack ads against me in the month of September alone, this was already one of the most competitive governor’s races in the country.

Election analysts have downgraded our chances of winning three times in a row. The most recent public polling showed Scott Jensen running statistically even with me. And we just learned that the Jensen-Birk campaign outraised us during the last reporting period for the first time ever.
