Team—It’s officially fall, which means two things:

#1. The Dodgers are in the playoffs

#2. Election Day is right around the corner

Tonight, I’m emailing you about the second thing on the list. I’m hoping you’ll join my grassroots team before my final FEC quarterly deadline coming up at 9 pm. Will you pitch in any amount right now so we can hit our goal out of the park?

I won’t sugar coat it: experts think that Republicans will take back the House, but Democrats are on a hot streak at just the right time. If we’ve learned anything from post-season baseball, it’s that conventional wisdom often goes out the window in October, and greatness will only be achieved if everyone works together.

So please, contribute what you can to my campaign before the deadline. Together we can finish strong and win big!
