This is one of the most important elections in New York history. I’m running to build on the progress we’ve made over the last year on critical issues facing New Yorkers, from safeguarding our fundamental rights and enacting commonsense gun safety reforms, to making transformative investments in affordable housing, education, health care, and so much more.

But our work is not finished yet. We have to continue building stronger communities and giving every New Yorker the opportunity to thrive. It’s how we’ll continue to move our state forward.

Our far-right opponent has tied himself as closely to Donald Trump as possible since day one – and he’s threatening to undo all of our hard work. We can’t risk moving our state backward.

So, I’m sending a clear message: We’re not going back.
