The Ballot DISCLOSE Act will increase election transparency by ensuring that ALL voters know who is for and against ballot measures – it would require a short and easy-to-read list of the supporters and opponents of each ballot measure, right on the ballot.
This act would also level the playing field so that nonprofits and other trusted organizations can make their voices heard on ballot measures, without being outspent by wealthy corporations.
After Senate Republicans voted down the DISCLOSE Act at the federal level, we must take action to support election transparency now!
