AIPAC Update

The people of Iran are taking to the streets again today, bravely protesting the oppressive regime and risking their lives to fight for their freedom.
Protests began after the brutal killing of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, accused by Iranian police of improperly wearing her headscarf.
Women in more than 80 Iranian cities have courageously defied the regime in the days since, burning their hijabs, cutting their hair, and marching through the streets. The regime has responded with brute force. According to reports, more than 80 people have been killed, 900 people have been injured and 1,200 have been arrested.
Iranian human rights activist Marjan Keypour Greenblatt joined AIPAC on Friday to discuss the significance of these developments and provide unique insight into what life is like for women in Iran.
