John,
Martha could not have made it this far in the race without the broad coalition of support she's enjoyed from all corners of Hennepin County. We want to take a moment to recognize the community leaders, elected officials, labor unions and supporters like you who are working to ensure that Martha Holton Dimick is your next Hennepin County Attorney.

Yesterday, Martha welcomed an endorsement from her neighbor on the northside: Don Samuels. The community activist and former US House candidate stands with Martha because of her consistent advocacy for police accountability and her β€œboth/and” mentality that 'we need to embrace in Minneapolis and across the country if we are going to advance racial equity by addressing both criminal justice reform and community violence.' Don emphasized that ' Martha is the right choice for reform and the only choice for safety .'

Last week, Martha received a slate of endorsements from the mayors of thirty cities representing 80% of Hennepin County residents, including those leading 8 of the 9 largest cities in Hennepin County.
These leaders have a clear interest in keeping their communities safe β€” that's why Martha is the nearly unanimous choice of Hennepin County mayors to lead the Attorney's office. This is an unprecedented coalition across political and geographic boundaries including dozens of mayors who have never endorsed in the county attorney race.

In the Star Tribune's endorsement of Martha, the editorial board wrote that "Dimick's common-sense approach and her prosecutorial, judicial and managerial experience stand out in this field. She also has the temperament and communication skills needed to build more credibility, transparency in charging decisions, and trust in the office. She has a reputation for being tough but fair and for building relationships with law enforcement and the community. "

There are far too many endorsements for us to list in just one email (this is a good thing!). Feel free to peruse the entire slate on Martha's website ( www.marthaforhennepin.com/endorsements [[link removed]] ).
We've rallied a broad and diverse coalition around Martha's candidacy and the progress we know she'll make as the next Hennepin County Attorney. Thank you for standing with us.
Sincerely,
Martha for Hennepin
