I am sure you’ve received dozens of these emails over the last few days, so I’m going to keep this brief.

As my Team mentioned yesterday, this is our final quarterly FEC reporting deadline before the November election. That matters because it's our last opportunity to show McConnell, Trump, and their allies that Maryland isn’t up for grabs.

The former President is already trying to interfere here – just next month he is hosting a Mar-a-Lago fundraiser with Republican mega-donors for the GOP nominee for governor in our state.

It's important that we send a strong signal that we’re prepared not only to defend this Senate seat, but also to get out the vote so we can make sure Maryland goes All Blue in 2022.

That's why I’m asking you to make a donation of $5 or whatever you can to our campaign today. Democrats can win up and down the ballot in Maryland this year, but we need the resources to engage voters across the state and mobilize our energetic base of supporters.

The midterms historically draw many fewer voters than presidential elections, so we will need to leave everything on the field as we work to get folks to the polls both in Maryland and across the country.
