Hello – this is Washington State Senate Majority Leader Andy Billig. For our Senate to be successful in delivering for the people of Washington, we need to have leaders and partners like Senator Emily Randall. I’m reaching out to ask for your help to defend her seat and our Democratic majority.

I have seen firsthand what a strong leader Emily is, and how well she advocates for you on the Senate floor. Senator Randall has played a crucial role in keeping our Senate aligned and on track, particularly during our virtual sessions these last two years. Simply put, the Senate Democratic Caucus can’t do our job without her.

Election Day is just around the corner and there’s no race that I have my eye on more than Emily’s. Remember: she won by just 102 votes in 2018, and had the closest August primary results of any incumbent State Senator. And right-wing extremists are more organized and motivated than ever to unseat her.

She’s coming up on her last monthly deadline before ballots go out, and we need to help her raise as much as possible before midnight tonight. We can’t wait any longer - now is the time for action. Will you join me in supporting Senator Randall’s campaign today, and help defend our Democratic majority?

Everyone thought this would be a year where Democrats lose seats and Republicans coast to victory. But so far, we have flipped the script in Washington, and we’re poised to protect our Democratic majorities at the state level thanks to campaigns just like Emily’s.

If we do that, that means more support for protecting abortion rights. More support for expanding healthcare access and providing economic relief to our working families and most vulnerable communities. More support for tackling climate change and unlocking the opportunities that a green economy presents. More support for defending democracy.

But we’ll only get there if we all do our part, and nobody needs our help more than Senator Randall. Please join me in supporting her today.
