Dear John,

We’re so grateful for your support. We’ve been hearing from so many trans people, allies, and loved ones in the final days of our #ProtectTransHealth campaign. And if you haven’t left your comment yet, we NEED you to raise your voice!

Don’t wait: comments close on Monday, October 3.Tell the government now: We must fight discrimination against trans people nationwide!

Our healthcare and safety are under attack across the country. In Oklahoma, extremist lawmakers are withholding much-needed funding from the state’s healthcare system to stop kids from getting the gender-affirming care they need. And in Virginia, the governor is demanding that schools stop affirming and protecting trans students.

We just heard from a parent who said that, without gender-affirming care, he’s not sure if his trans son would still be with us, happy and healthy, as he is today. The stakes are too high - and we refuse to let these attacks continue.Leaving a comment is one thing you can do RIGHT NOW to help secure these crucial protections. We know the government is listening - and we’re telling them that these attacks are unacceptable.

Your comment can be anonymous, and as long or as short as you like - and every single one counts. While every state is different, one thing is for sure: Federal protections help everyone. The rule that the Biden-Harris administration is considering would help protect all trans people as they seek gender-affirming care. Make your voice heard now!

October 3rd is the final day to submit comments, and we’ll be hosting two LIVE digital events to get over the finish line! Join us on Instagram at 4:30 EST, where Transgender Law Center will be joined by triathlete Chris Mosier in a race to the #ProtectTransHealth finish line. At 5pm, NCTE will be joined on Facebook by a cast of special guests to talk about recent attacks on trans health and why we need their comments on ProtectTransHealth.org

Yours in solidarity,
