To help prevent identity theft, a free shred event?on Saturday, October 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. is being hosted at the Public Works facility by the Police Department and?First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO).?
Boxes of paper will be accepted until the shred trucks are full, or 1 p.m., whichever comes first.?
A maximum of three large file boxes are allowed per vehicle. This event is drive-up only. Please place boxes in your vehicle's trunk.?Please arrive early so you won't miss the opportunity to safely clear out unwanted personal documents.
Important documents that are no longer needed may include credit card receipts & applications, insurance forms, medical statements, checks, bank statements, and expired credit cards. Learn more about the Oct. 15 shred event.?

It's a great weekend to clean up your yard and get rid of old branches. The Village's final free brush collection?begins October 3 in Zone A, and Zone B on October 10. Need to figure out your zone? View the Brush Zone Collection Map.
Follow these tips to ensure the best service: Place all brush at curb by 7 a.m. on Monday morning for your zone. Pile brush neatly with all branches facing the same direction. Do not put brush in a container or in the street. Find more details about brush collection.

Tickets are now on sale for Wine OFF the Fox! The new event features wine tasting and live performances from girl bands on Saturday, Oct. 22 at Oswego?s Venue 1012. A portion of the event?s proceeds will benefit organizations that provide breast cancer services and support.?
