CVS responded to our demand that they cut ties with The Partnership for America’s Health Care Future.

NNU - Medicare for All!

We’re in the news! After our event in Las Vegas earlier this week, several local news stations featured stories about our efforts to make CVS Health cut ties with the Partnership for America’s Health Care Future, the largest anti-Medicare for All corporate front group in the country.

In one of the news segments, CVS responded to our demands — take a look at their statement and our response here.

Getting any answer from CVS is a testament to the strength of our movement. Together, we’ve put in motion a powerful effort to pass Medicare for All — and giant corporations like CVS Health are listening.

But unsurprisingly, CVS’s response was wholly inadequate. They say that they are not currently funding the Partnership; yet they say they agree with everything the Partnership stands for.

So, we’re calling for a National Day of Action at their store locations across the country on Saturday, October 15. Will you join our webinar next Monday, October 3, to hear more about how we’re preparing for the October 15 CVS Day of Action?

We can’t let up the pressure now — and we won’t until CVS publicly cuts ties with the Partnership and commits to supporting what’s best for patients, not their bottom line.

Thank you for being involved in our fight for Medicare for All.

In solidarity,

P.S. We have to make sure that CVS Health hears us loud and clear. Please watch and share the video from our Las Vegas event to tell CVS: Stop gambling with patients’ lives!
