As part of that love, I promise to always be transparent with you about where we're at.
John,
I often sign my emails to you with "Your Congresswoman loves you." Whether or not you live in Missouri's first district, when I tell you that, it's not just words — it's something I genuinely mean. I do this work because I love my district, my people, and you.
To me, radical love means radical honesty. It means being transparent with you about where we're at. And it means asking for help when you need it.
So John, today, in the spirit of that transparency, I come directly to you with an important question. With just hours to our final end-of-quarter fundraising deadline before Election Day, I could use your help. If you're able to, will you donate $5 right now to help our team hit our $83,500 goal and fund our re-election campaign?
To me, radical love is a powerful thing. It's what got me in this work in the first place, and keeps me in it even on the hardest days.
To me, it doesn't matter who you are — if you love me, if you hate me, or if you voted for me or voted for someone else. I care if you ate today. I care if you have a roof over your head today. I care that you're safe today. I care that you know you're loved today.
John, I am determined to keep doing this work until we can get justice for all. But I need your help to stay in the fight and win on November 8. Will you please chip in $5 or more to help keep me in Congress and power our grassroots movement for bold, progressive change?
Chip in $5
Thank you for all of your support.
Your Congresswoman loves you,
Cori
