Over the last twelve months, we’ve broken new ground on issues like ending Trump’s Muslim Ban by securing the first ever Congressional oversight hearing and preventing an unauthorized war with Iran by building bipartisan majorities who voted against war in the House and Senate.
But we’ve also experienced upsets, including the continued impact of the ban that separates our families, and a policy of sanctions that hurts our loved ones in Iran and undermines the path to peace. With 2020 on the horizon, NIAC is building itself up to hit the ground running and stay ahead of the issues, including releasing our new report on diplomatic opportunities to reduce Middle East tensions and building political power at home by releasing our 2020 presidential scorecard and helping elect more Iranian Americans to public office.
