We wanted to make sure you saw some recent news: FiveThirtyEight recently updated their “Election Denier” tracker for Elissa’s opponent. 

It now notes that he ‘raised questions’ in the aftermath of the 2020 election, the same designation given to John Gibbs and John James, two other Michigan GOP candidates who have also questioned the 2020 results.

FiveThirtyEight made these changes after Elissa’s opponent reiterated his election denial in the Michigan press. In a recent piece published in the Detroit Free Press, he again rejected the results of the 2020 election. And in a separate piece, published the same day by WXYZ, he refused to comment when asked if he would accept the outcome of his own election for Michigan’s 7th congressional district.
