John,
Today is the FEC’s final end-of-quarter deadline before the election.
As we look toward the final few weeks leading up to November 8, our ability to protect abortion rights everywhere is all going to come down to mobilizing voters in states like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. There, pro-choice candidates John Fetterman and Mandela Barnes are facing anti-choice extremists. Will you help elect pro-choice candidates with a contribution to the Working Families Party today?

We have to put our strongest foot forward because the margins in the Senate are so slim — the GOP just needs a single additional seat to regain majority control.
We’ve seen what they plan to do with a majority — undo decades of progress, alienate our nation’s most vulnerable, and sow hate and division. Even without a majority in the Senate, they’ve been able to block our progress on so many issues.
But if we can flip just two seats — replacing Republicans with working families champions — we will win the majority necessary to not only reclaim our rights, but expand them. With those two extra votes we’ll finally be able to abolish the filibuster, codify Roe v. Wade into law, and much more.
Abolishing the filibuster will make it possible for Senators to actually respond to the will of the people — and the will to restore abortion rights is strong:
-
Polls show that vast majorities of Americans oppose the overturning of Roe v. Wade.1
-
56% of voters say abortion is “very important” for deciding their midterm votes.2
-
Across ten states after the Dobbs decision, the total number of women registering to vote increased by nearly 35%.3
There’s no better time to support pro-choice candidates up and down the ballot by making a contribution before our end-of-quarter deadline tonight. Your contribution helps WFP support the candidates who will end the filibuster and defend reproductive freedom.
In solidarity,
Working Families Party
